Jessie Redmon Fauset (1882-1961) also viewed art as a means for political or propagandist ends. In her personal life, as in her art, Fauset strove to depict the middle class values of which she saw as the way to freedom and equality for her race. In one very revealing episode in which her personal inclination conflicted with social propriety, Fauset chose to stay within the boundaries of society set for her. On a trip to Africa, Fauset had visited alone the section of Algiers named the Kasbah. She returned the next day with two companions, only to be warned by a Frenchwoman that the “quarters are too dangerous to visit without an escort” (Wall 34). Notwithstanding the fact that she had been there alone already and now had two companions, Fauset adheres to the proper conduct the Frenchwoman informs her of.
Fauset had earned degrees from Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania, and had worked as a high school teacher for fourteen years before becoming involved in the Renaissance (Wall 35). During the years she spent as literary editor of The Crisis, from 1919 to 1926, she was also the “most prominent black woman writer” (Wall 36). Fauset published “poems, reportage, reviews, short stories, and translations” in addition to her four novels (Wall 36).
Being strictly conservative, Fauset “adapted the conventions of the sentimental novel to her own purposes,” which were to “explore the impact of racism and sexism on black Americans’ lives and represent the means by which black Americans overcame these oppressions and got on with the business of living” (Wall 66). However, the black Americans Fauset fictionalizes are middle-class, like herself, and firmly adhering to the values of the dominant society. The novels she wrote, There is Confusion (1924), Plum Bun (1929), The Chinaberry Tree (1931), and Comedy: American Style (1933), are social critiques of African American middle class life, and a condemnation of the racism and sexism that constrains African Americans. Wall asserts the basic theme of Fauset’s novels is “propriety for the New Negro woman was virtually a racial obligation” (80).
Fauset, in her art as well as her demeanor, attempts to dispel the stereotype of African American women as exotic, overtly sexual beings. In creating the image of the proper middle class African American woman, Fauset had to suppress her sexuality, and to conduct herself within the boundaries of social propriety. To Fauset, this was not a bad thing; she believed that her behavior, and the like behavior of other African Americans, would uplift her race from injustice and prejudice. In her preface to her third novel Plum Bun, Fauset describes her literary philosophy:
I have depicted something of the home life of the colored American who is not being pressed too hard by the Furies of Prejudices, Ignorance, and Economic Injustice…. And behold he is not so vastly different from any other Americans (Sato 67).
Her novels depict that, given the freedom to educate their minds without enduring prejudices or economic hindrances, all African Americans can achieve just as well as any other American. In other words, that African Americans do not possess any inborn, or inherent characteristics that distinguish them from whites; it is all a matter of social and economic boundaries that differentiates the African American race.

Don’t worry! This is a common feeling. It usually arises when people feel under pressure to produce something that is either original or approaches perfection. Neither of these issues should be your concern.
Photography is all about enjoyment. The moment you start feeling under pressure to produce certain images is the time that you stop enjoying photography.
There are so many things to take digital images of. Have a good look around you. What are your specific interests? Do you like landscapes, action, portraits, nature? Have a look at some of the ideas that others have had - either online or in magazines - most of them are simple subjects.
Don’t be put off by the quality of the work of others though. Most of us take simple, straightforward pictures that give us enjoyment and pleasure. Try and develop a particular interest and just take pictures of whatever you see that complements that topic. By looking at your images, or even sharing them, you will develop a critique of your own work which will spur you on to take better photographs.
Try to take simple images, perhaps concentrating on one technique - such as depth of field. Think about composition and about seeing familiar features in a different way. Keep looking because those images are everywhere.
There is always something to take photographs of. You should be limited only by your imagination - not by the pressures you may feel from others.

The true meaning of Saturn is that he is the teacher of the
deeper lessons of life. Therefore, what he demands is that you
learn your life lessons so well that you will never forget them.
If you do learn these lessons well, you will become an expert
and can teach others what these valuable lessons mean.
If you know nothing about astrology, these words may sound
strange. In this case, it may help you to realize that the
planets are reflected in our unconscious as archetypes. This is
what the great psychiatrist, Carl Jung, discovered. This means
that the actual planets in the heavens are living inside of you
as specific energies. These magnetic energies flow through the
chakras of your body and are expressed through your specific
desires and attitudes. (I have given a more accurate term for
this process which I call “Planetary Psychology.”)
I recommend that you embrace the demands of Saturn. This brings
us to a question:
What are the particular demands that Saturn
places upon you?
To find the answer, this is what I suggest: Please locate my
email at my website listed below and provide me with your date,
time, and place of birth and I will tell you where your Saturn
is located and where to get free information on what it means
for you. Please understand that you don’t need any knowledge of
astrology to understand this. All you need to do is locate the
information that relates to your Saturn, print it out, and study
it to see how it relates to your life challenges.
One final note: Most people tend to ignore what Saturn is
trying to teach them. It is not wise to do this. Because, if
you learn Saturn’s lessons well, you will become an expert and
others will seek you out for advice.

When you are just about to start to play cricket it is not always easy to know what you should purchase. If you go into a sports retail store & ask them what you require, you will in all probability end up getting a great deal of gear. Hence, it is better to figure out what you will require ahead of you going shopping. That way you are a great deal more likely to acquire what you need, instead of what the shop manager advises you require.
Below, is essentially an entire cricket equipment list, you don’t have to get all the kit on this list, as various organisations will lend you kit in particular at junior level:
Cricket whites, cricket bats, balls, helmets, gloves, batting (wicket keeping) inner gloves, wicket keeping gloves, batting pads, wicket keeping pads, box, chest pad, arm guard, inner thigh pad, cricket boots (bowling boots; batting boots), box (groin guard), stumps and bails.
For the majority of sports competitions you play a part in you will need to have your own set of whites. Cricket whites contain white cricket trousers & a cricket shirt. It is very important to check that you get a high-quality pair of cricket trousers & also a nice white cricket shirt & jumper as it can quickly turn cold if you are standing out on the field for a significantly long time especially if you are playing in England (the start and end of the season are the coldest). Find great offers on cricket trousers.
If you can not borrow kit from your club the other most important items of equipment are a cricket bat & box. A descent cricket bat is imperative if you aim to score tons of runs & is a very personal piece of equipment, spend some time selecting your bat, if at all possible you should go to a shop and pick one up before you buy so you know how it feels to play with. (Once you know what you want you can often purchase bats online much cheaper). You need a good box to guard your groin from the ball, as getting hit down below’ is awfully painful, so investing in a good box before you start is a defiant must - you can not play cricket without one.

THE BICYCLE OF LEONARDO DA VINCI: - “… a man who was at once an artist, an inventor, a scientist - and who saw no contradiction between these diverse realms.
In his unceasing quest for truth, Leonardo explored every branch of the sciences known to his age and proved to be far ahead in many respects in his precise observations, his striving for sound methodology and measurement, and the value he placed on empirical proof. ‘No human investigation’, he wrote, ‘can be called true science without going through the mathematical tests… the sciences which begin and end in the mind cannot be considered to contain truth, because such discourses lack experience, without which nothing reveals itself with certainty.” (57)
This quote is from a semi-whitewash of a life full of conflict, especially with the church. They should emphasize the oppressive control over thought and creativity the church of Leonardo’s day had over all sciences. In fact there was only one science - philosophy which in actual fact was just theology. So Leonardo’s words take on a different meaning than they suggest. It is even more important than you might imagine because Leonardo was the head or ‘Nautonnier’ of the Priory of Sion. The authors are from Catholic Universities mostly, so we must forgive them when they claim to have fostered Leonardo’s genius when in fact they did the opposite and it isn’t till near the end of the book they note he was charged with being homosexual by these Inquisitorial suppressors of soul and thought.
There is a whole specialty of study devoted to Da Vinci’s work but little truth and a lot of propaganda. Few are they who admit both he and his mentor were alchemists and the horrors of a life hidden behind lies and half-truths that resulted from the fear of being found out. It is a theme of many of the great scientists and their lives, and little credit is given to the courageous men and women who toiled to understand and the truth they shared is available. Why? Do we still fear others might do what they did or think? Think for themselves and question the authority which seeks to credit their approach to knowing.
The Scientific Method of observation and conclusion is said to have been discovered by Bacon. There is some truth to that, but which Bacon? Some say Francis and there is no truth in that even though he pretended to be an alchemist in his Rosicrucian or Masonic circles including John Dee and Ashmolean types. The better scholars attribute it to Roger Bacon who actually was an alchemist and spent a great deal of his life in dungeons after having ferreted himself away in the church as a monk for a long time. Metaphysics and independent thought can be a dangerous business and there are many current authors whose work is relegated to obscurity unless they learn how to appease the ‘normative’ or oppressive mindset. The sad part is that there is no benefit to anyone by such oppression. Not only is there abundance and creativity but those who know the soul will not NEED to clothe it in grandiose raiment. They will gladly work for the joy of utilizing their potential for the benefit of mankind rather than seeking to destroy others and life in general.
It is interesting that Napoleon (a Merovingian/Mason) made sure to get all of Da Vinci’s work that was around when he conquered Milan, but I there is some of it that wasn’t discovered until after that and it is most interesting. Da Vinci was a Johannite like Newton (another alchemist, whose Principiae Mathematica had a brief comment at its’ start - ‘This is much more than I should say; and much less than there is!’). Johannites believe the true prophet in Biblical times was John the Baptist and we are continuing to seek other Benjaminite and Masonic connections with him despite a sense that both Jesus and John the Baptist were operating from the same source. Would Napoleon have destroyed any Johannite writings if the Merovingian House of David and Judah or family of Jesus were concerned about Da Vinci’s fame and credibility or writings? We cannot say such a thing and we aren’t sure John wasn’t a favourite of theirs as well.
The troubling thing about this book is the presentation of Da Vinci as a semi-competent who needed a Franciscan monk’s help. We like Francis of Assisi and don’t doubt the church was watching over Leonardo just as they did all artists who were producing God’s work. Yes, the church claimed all creative work was their property! They also controlled education just as they have in many places until this very day. Most likely Luca Pacioli (Franciscan) was under directions to keep Da Vinci in line and to make such things as we will see, remain hidden from the public. Da Vinci was before Galileo and you can be sure he would have met the usual gruesome heretical stake or fire after a few parts were titillated or cut along the way.
These are the words of the Catholic University academic which give a little insight to the conflict Da Vinci faced during these oppressive times when thought was even less well managed than today. “Leonardo and Luca Pacioli worked together for many years, and as we have seen, the intervention of Master Luca was decisive. Nevertheless there existed between the two categories a social and hierarchical conflict, even if no one had ever placed in doubt the supremacy of the liberal arts as the only depositories of true science. And the one who rose up resolutely against the exclusion of the mechanical arts from the sphere of science {Such deceit to call what the church allowed people to think of, as science.}, or as it was then known, ‘philosophy’ was Leonardo.” (58)
The best part of the whole book for me is the bicycle. It has a chain drive mechanism that looks like a 19th century model of something he would have seen in the future. His representation is not engineered so perfectly that he would have been able to inspect it however. It had no steering mechanism, for example. On top of the original drawing that was discovered long after the death of all parties is a childish drawing of a penis to look like a cat with legs. Still they don’t actually use words to say he was ‘gay’ and we know he would say something about this if he was alive today. It is a certain thing about propaganda - great people become more manageable after they die - you can ’spin’ their image to your hearts desire. In the case of Jesus they make him over every century! I guess all the priests abusing children across North America and the court awards have made them a little sensitive - can you say risk management? Can you say hypocrites? They still exclude ‘gays’ from all sorts of things and marriage is just one of them. Maybe this is the area ‘master’ Luca was most instructive to Da Vinci?! It is an area of their expertise but what Da Vinci was able to produce, is not.
“While they recognize the unmistakable nature of this machine, the few scholars who have examined the drawing are decidedly reluctant to admit its antiquity. Since the application of the chain-drive goes back only to the end of the 19th century, they propose a dating of the drawing within the early years of the present century. Such a hypothesis, however, collides with insurmountable difficulties: (1) The page in question remained hidden for almost four centuries, and it is unimaginable that 70 or 80 years ago a boy would have obtained from the directorship of the Biblioteca Ambrosiana the permission to view the codex, detach one or two of the pages, and then draw upon them and glue them back again. (2) Even in that case, he would have drawn a bicycle of a type then existent, not one of wood with wheelbarrow wheels, {And this imaginary child the academics try to say drew the cat/penis, would have been a pretty smart kid to know the name of Leonardo’s pupil/model/lover. There is a small matter of his signature.} no means of steering, and the teeth of the central gear so squared off that they could not be fitted to the chain. (3) The odd toothed wheels and the chain coincide exactly with those drawn by Leonardo in Codex Madrid 1, folio 10 recto. (4) We cannot separate the bicycle from the other drawings visible in folios 132 verso and 133 verso of the Codex Atlanticus. Actually they were drawn when the pages were united at the two halves of one page. Reuniting them, we see that another hand has drawn, also in pencil and from left to right, two pornographic drawings obviously meant as a joke, over which, on the right side, is clearly written ’salaj’, that is, Salai, the name of Leonardo’s pupil, model and servant…To become a reality, the idea required the final solution of some challenging problems such as the matter of steering and the adaptation of the large squared off teeth with their jutting comers to the links of the chain… Salai entered Leonardo’s house in 1490, aged 10.” (59)
How did Leonardo draw about half of the design of such as bike? The best answer is that he looked into the ‘Philosopher’s Stone’ of his patron/alchemist or he developed one of his own like Nostradamus. It is not an easy thing to do, but I think he could have done it. If he actually traveled through time he would have been able to draw a bike and many other things like his famous helicopter. When looking into a ‘Stone’ there are many confusing images of possible future and jumbled realities. We know that many within the Catholic Church have studied these things (e.g. Aquinas) and that they know about the ‘Stone’. In recent times a Catholic cleric developed a Chronovisor in conjunction with top physicists including Enrico Fermi, according to one report I have seen.
We know they would have been very concerned about Leonardo telling the world about many things he knew. The Gnostics were heretics because they said things like: ‘The Original Sin that separates us from God is Ignorance!’ Who is passing on whether or not you are a heretic because you believe in the possibility of a ‘Stone’ today? Yes, most of society! Few have any idea of what an alchemist is or what contributions they’ve made to humanity, the quantum physicists were called ‘atom-mysticists’ when they spoke of the things chaos science and alchemy has studied for over 13,000 years. This is why we don’t need an Inquisition. Because the media and education system is more effective!
The titles and grandiloquent appointments of the egotistical chest-beating ecclesiasts who follow in the footsteps of the money- changers whose tables Jesus over-turned in the Roman-backed Temples are so fantastic that any impressionable person can easily think THEY must know! This is the technique of ‘The BIG lie!’ If you make an ass of your true self (the soul) by saying you are ‘Holy’ and an ‘Emperor’, it is no matter. Just continue to add all the nations and states you have under your control. Say you are the sole representative of God on earth, and that the universe revolves around you. It might work as well as saying disease comes from ’sins and demons’ and ‘women are the harbingers of THE Original Sin’. Actually any human is able to know what Jesus called ‘the living father within’. Are we really out of the influence of the ‘Dark Ages’? I’d like to debate that with the Pope or some other proselyte.

Logo designs are typically a visual representation of a graphic or text or a combination of both that provides a unique identity to a company and its products. Logos help to create a visual recognizable identity for a company that effectively contributes to the company’s branding.
With the wide artistic possibilities, logo designers often become too enthusiast in creating a company logo design that actually fails to meet the purpose. An extremely abstract art, or a very complex illustration is often not a good example of a logo though they might be considered as a good art if considered from the perspective of a general artwork and not a logo. A logo design should be well thought out, with factors like usage, application and the nature of the company being kept in mind. These few simple tips will give you a grip on the job and even when you get a professional logo design firm to do your logo, you will know what exactly to ask from them.
Primary Identity for your Business
A company logo design creates the primary identity of your business and it should be designed in a way to represent the attitude and nature of the business in the best possible way. A logo designs should not be “dated” and should always have a fresh and contemporary look. Also while deciding on the logo you should consider where and how you are going to use it. Depending on the various mediums on which you are going to put the logo, the color and nature of the logo should be chosen. Also, a logo design can have a long term cost impact, for example having a four color logo can cost very high when you need to print it on your business cards and corporate stationary. Logo design is one of your most important business decisions that are sure to have a great impact on your business for its lifetime.
Simplicity is the Key
Do not go for a complicated design, always remember a logo is not a piece of art but it is a symbol for your corporate identity. Complicated designs are difficult to remember and are not easily recognized. Also, if you ever require a miniature version of your logo, say to put on some gift items like pen or coffee mug, it will loose the clarity and look like a colored blob.
Use Less Colors
Even if your logo design company does not charge you more for using more colors, always restrict your choice to a maximum of three colors. Using more colors can make the logo look good on the web but how would it look when you are sending a fax with the logo in black and white? Besides, the more colors you use for logo the more will be your printing cost.
Use Regular Fonts
Though some fancy fonts might look good on your company logo try to keep your font choice as close to the regular fonts that are commonly available. This makes commercial reproduction and reprint of your logo much easier even if you are using a different printer than the one who actually printed your logo when it was created.
Always Use Vector Graphics
The most important reason for a logo design to be done in vector format is that vector graphics can be resized without any loss of clarity or image quality. A company logo design is used for varied purpose like in business cards and corporate stationery, websites, signage etc and in each of these you would require a different size of the logo. To meet this requirement, it is essential that the logo be created as a vector graphics in some vector software application like Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand. Logos done in software like Adobe Photoshop would loose quality and stretched once the image is enlarged.
Trademark and Registration
Now that you have got the company logo designed it is always wise to get it registered and trademarked to ensure that the logo is protected from any sort of plagiarisms. Most logo design companies would transfer their complete copyright on the design to the buyer; however, it is advisable that you ask your logo designer to confirm on this point.

Umpteen gamblers will have read the caption “offshore sports betting”, but many may not be altogether in the know what it indicates. A foreign gaming internet site basically runs external to the jurisdiction of a specific state on the other hand it can mean a networked gaming internet site that has all of its central servers within the borders of a land in which networked wagering isn’t at the moment disallowed. To summarize then, it is a sports gambling internet site functioning outside the state of the patron. Machine-accessible sports wagering sites are mainly modulated via three institutions. These are called the OSGA (the Offshore Gaming Association), IGC (Interactive Gaming Council) and finally the Fidelity Trust Gaming Association (the FTGA).
The OSGA is a nonpartisan watchdog body which presently keeps tabs on the current overseas gaming industry, they labor to also give the paying public the ability to easily discover respectable organizations to play games with. It strives to guard the concerns of gaming fans, also they don’t charge any yearly expenses.
The Offshore Gaming Association is a well qualified not to mention impartial third party association who give impartial points of view, suggested by your responses, unbiased scrutiny, phone discussions, inside information furthermore to provide inside communication.
The IGC is a nonprofit agency. The organisation has been designed to allow an arena for curious people to talk about questions also to improve common matters in the multinational interactive sports betting profession, to ensure frank and also stable professional rules and practices that improve consumer confidence in internet betting products and utilities, and to be of service as the industry’s inclusive procedure guardian and it also acts as an information hub.
The IGC has developed a distinction for honor, candor also credibility by virtue of the industry ethics it stands for, also its allure for moral commercial enterprises. The IGC regularises overseas sports gaming by recommending a specific 10-point running code and also bills gaming websites license fees for publishing their logo. Disillusioned bettors can also report any of their conflicts of opinion to the Interactive Gaming Council.
The FTGA was set up in an effort to construct a standard which will reform the criteria of networked gaming businesses. The IGC trust that conducting business only with companies of honorable reputation, they are able to create a coalition of the most ethical and most competent offshore gaming companies worldwide.
There are councils who survey the practises of on-line sports gaming and which should through time work to mitigate any uneasiness experienced by many gambling buffs. Internet based sports betting web sites are consistently harmless, beacuse private details shouldn’t be necessary and also the payouts not to mention the odds are mainly as uniform and reasonable as in your familiar Vegas-style sports bet. They reduce traveling expenditure, but nevertheless retain the ethos of a Vegas-style gambling web site, however now you may play in the comfort of your familiar surroundings.

“This is homage to Martin Luther King, Jr.”
How much have we contributed to this existing world? Most or all of our paths are already taken or invented by the pioneers. Martin Luther King is one of the most prolific contributors to the field of humanity in our human world. His perspiration, courage and achievements are the milestones of human freedoms, civil rights and other mental civilizations that all of us are firmly holding as our norm. No matter how civilized our world has reached, people with heads like that of Martin Luther King are needed. This heroic man is needed based on three rationalisms.
1. Model of no model:
Ninety-nine percent of the world’s population needs “model” to invent the similar model. Martin Luther King does not stand in the ninety-nine percent, but in the one percent of the world’s population.
There was no one before him (his model) to steer his freedom-oriented mentality. His stride for Black American’s equal rights on the land dominated by White Americans was an original human philosophy that no one before him could think of. Martin Luther King, an arch-model man!
2. Courage:
With no prosperous family background and other sturdy foundations, Martin Luther King dares to initiate the first and absolutely risky vocations.
During his time, the United States of America was not as civilized as today: segregated schools, legal loopholes to guarantee equal rights and accesses between Black and White Americans and other ethnic groups, unsophisticated American mentalities and other human rights mechanisms to protect the good-faith civil-right activists like Martin Luther King. Never got discouraged by these plights, King still strides for equal rights for all human as what stated in social-contract theory of Jean-Jacque Rousseau.
Incarceration, quantity support and other promising backgrounds are not the reasons that make King accept the status quo of materialism and idealism inequalities.
3. Achievements
To what extent King’s perspiration has brought to the soil of America and the world? The abolition of school segregations, America’s today heroic image of international human-right actor, international human right instruments and even other philosophical contributions to the world after his death, are the achievements that enable us to feel for “tomorrow.”
His death caused by assassination is the wonderful regret, because we do not know would such a head be born again, but this never discourage me to follow this model. More Martin Luther Kings are needed for a more promising and desirable world.
Wring this article, the author has come up with an antonym: Money Vs Humanity.
Lay Vicheka’s quotes on Martin Luther King:
“A symbol of humanity”
“A model without model”
“An element that is the scarcest in this world”
“An archetype of idealism”
“A man who never waits for tomorrow”
“Perspiration is the achievement path for Martin Luther King”
“A true philosopher”
“A model for me”

In 1350 AD we were still quite a few centuries from settling at Plymouth. I have been luckily in that I have found adequate records back to 1200s in my family tree. But this is the time of the end of the inhabitants and Civilization of the Mesa Verde Cliff Dwellers. Some stayed back we suppose, they are the Anastasi Indians. What else was going on in the world during this time? Well as the Indians were leaving there was another civilization flourishing in Thailand and the Thais people had built many city-states.
http://galileo.gits.net.th/www.thaimain.org/en/intro/history.html .
Of course in Italy and Europe they were dealing with the Bubonic Plague. Droughts can cause plagues;

and so did the Indians fight over resources and simultaneously had to deal with plagues of the day. We know from El Nino that insects can catch a ride across the Pacific on the jet stream. Did issues such as this add to the problems along with fires, which forced hot air into the air above, ten thousand feet send it into the jet stream and across the ocean? With increased solar activity this is relatively possible and we already know that fires in Russia and China and a Volcano in the Pacific Rim could force debris and insects that would travel with the smoke across the globe. Also dust storms have recently had clouds, which have traveled, twice around the world. As well as the Gulf War sending smoke around the world and changing the atmospheric weather patterns. We know increased electromagnetic energy from solar activity could also cause changes in the ionosphere that changes weather for as many as five or more years. We have recently experienced all of this in the past tow decades.
Now we may not have realized it before, but now with GeoSats I through VII, we have learned more about he weather and its over all effect on our planet and the species and eco-systems in the land, air and sea. Now we know from fallen trees, which have fossilized an estimation of the weather back then. It appears that perhaps we may have accomplished a complete defense system to prevent a repeat of the former issues that mankind had to deal with. For instance air-conditioning, de-salting and the CDC. As far as fighting over resources and killing our fellow species members, apparently genetics has not moved as fast or advanced as much as the innovations which have propelled us to fight these issues. Now we seed the clouds, build barriers, sewer treatment plants, modify foods, use pesticides and fight pathogens, viruses and carefully discharge waste to prevent diseases. I must say if you stand back and look at how far we have come. It is quite impressive.
Now then we see the same signs of the past civilizations, their longevity and their goals. In modern time we saw Hitler proclaim the Third Reich to last some 1000 years. It is possible to create a culture that could accomplish this. It had been done before with the Chinese Dynasties, Egyptians, etc. If you look at England they are well on their way. We are young in the US, but we have really come a along way fast. Are we paying attention to the past and the cycles and flows? Are we kidding ourselves as to resources? Is the rest of the world kidding them selves? Places like Africa where a woman is not considered worthy in her culture unless she has no less than five children living. This is tough since the mortality rate is five to one living, therefore they need to have twenty kids to get five and yet there are not the natural resources or basic infrastructure to support all those children.
When I talk about Basic infrastructure, I mean such things as in sewer treatment plants, water supplies and food shelter and clothing, which are very inefficient in Africa. I suggest “Virus Hunters of The CDC” a great book to explain my point here. Are not paying attention to the most obvious challenges on living on the surface of a planet which is not only quite hostile, but also goes through cycles which make it difficult to habitat. In the US we have evolved our lifestyles and infrastructures to over come these cycles and trends. We are still caught off guard from linear decision making from time to time from politicians and short term thinking special interest groups pulling their strings using such form as a unit of trade or networked group of voters. However usually decisions, which are the worst for our future come from linear decisions which do not take into account the future or known cycles so that our most important projects take into account those issues we must face in future periods, some beyond our own naturals lives. Luckily our innovations have out paced our stupidity. And since free flow thought is still allowed for the most part and only stifled occasionally we all able to use the known cliché; Necessity is the mother of all inventions, to bail us out. This maybe true yet it makes no sense to drive towards a hypothetical point C, when the direct route to B from A is direct (this may not be a straight line).
I submit to you that the issues which have caused Indian Civilizations to fall are the same issues we see today as we attempt to feed more people, who use more resources and often waste that which they use. Growing populations are good for those cultures immersed in trade and using a common currency or unit of trade. We know that declining populations such as the mass exodus in the California bay area, due to miss management by Gray Davis will lead to an accelerated decay as maintenance of infrastructure will not be meeting the lessened flow of dollars in income from taxes. When we look at the zero growth rate of Japan we see a fate, which will befall many European Nations and eventually our population in the United States. The only way out of this is in the next 75 years we will need to change the currency to include payments or vouchers for helping the common good, since we will be over producing with less due to technology, robots and decreased consumption as populations get older.
If we look at Germany with 19% unemployment and taxes of over 70% you can see that free health care is not free at all, as a matter of fact it is nearly 5-6 times the cost as a free market provides such as in the US. With trade down in ancient civilization times as growers could only grow enough to eat and water resources ran out, starving armies grew like starving domestic dogs travel in packs where there is no animal control and they are hungry. Armies can rape and pillage and thus the spoils of war are a way to survive. When Anarchy exists due to a breaking down of civilization, you have turmoil. Which seems to be exactly what happened to the Indians, as we also saw in other times, when people signed up for armies because it meant they could eat if they fought.
When you compound droughts, fires which torch the fields of corn and wheat, which is used to feed your people and animals which bring you everything else with the destruction of wars from your own species. Then you either fight to live, or you die, or you give up and move away. This appears to be either all or part of the factors which led the Indians to leave such places as Mesa Verde:

or Canyon de Chelly;

Why would you leave if you had adequate defense and plentiful water? You would not, and I believe in the end they had neither. Why would you leave paradise unless you had too? The Incas were obviously not stupid people.
I hope this helps you think about our direction as a nation and how we go about our business throughout the world. Civilization includes so many more things than just a nice grouping of buildings and a base of population.
